In this next section of this diabetes prevention program it is talking about being more active. This is important for everyone with diabetes and those that want to prevent diabetes. The key is to make little changes that are daily.
As you can imagine if you want today it doesn’t really matter and if you don’t walk today it doesn’t matter either. However, when you consistently walk daily for a period of 15-20 minutes you will feel better.
Start being more active as part of your daily routine, start doing what is easy for you. Most everyone can walk outside. To make it more fun get a walking buddy.
Keep a log: This is important to yourself and for your doctor. The same way that you keep track of your blood sugar levels you can keep track of your activity.
